MOTAT Aviation Hall Opening Weekend

It's time for take-off! After much anticipation, the MOTAT Aviation Hall will be opening it's doors on Saturday 20 August.

Join the celebration and re-discover our extensive aviation collection, along with some exciting new additions, including:

- digital storytelling of historical aviation footage and interviews

- 360 degree photography of collection cockpits

- amazing New Zealand Police helicopter interactive - so much fun for the kids!

There will be plenty of fun for the whole whanau with Rainbow Rascals doing plane crafts, a photo green screen with cool aviation props, and Go Vertical will be joining the party with their Bungy Trampolines and Mobile Climbing Wall.

We'll also have a special MOTAT Mates zone upstairs.

The trams will be running between both MOTAT locations, along with rail train rides operating between Waititiko and Keith Park Stations.

Parking is easy with the new 155 space carpark right outside the door.
