With live entertainment, collection items, plus plenty of activities – there's a little something for everyone. This June, get swept up in the fun with LIVE DAY: Weather Science!
Play with raindrops, rainbows and bubbles with a range of wonderful weather-related activities. Create clouds, learn about our atmosphere and even make and take your own cloud finder home.
What makes a rainbow? Join drag superstar Hugo Grrrl for Hugo’s Rainbow Show: a musical, magical adventure exploring the science of the skies above.
Plus plenty of scientific discoveries are to be found in our Science and Technology Centre Te Puawānanga. Have a go at creating your own whetū star at the Te Manawa Magic Box and celebrate Matariki with a range of activities.
There will be LIVE Day classics, such as Little Flick rides, steam locomotives, aviation talks, the Pumphouse operating and heaps more!
